Manage your iSeries® (or AS/400®) from anywhere!

ACO CLIENT™ is a true e-business application that web-enables the server-side systems management features available in the ACO PAGER™ Message Alert System. The web client allows secure remote management of your iSeries (or AS/400) over the Internet (or your Intranet).

Manage system/application events in real-time from your favorite web browser. Use the web-enabled Work with Active Messages panel (below) to manage your iSeries system operator message queue (or any other actively monitored queue) while in or away from the office.

ACO CLIENT™ provides the following messaging capabilities:
  • View and respond to system/application messages.
  • Send workstation, pager, or e-mail messages.
  • Run commands, programs, or action scripts.
  • Perform internal system maintenance functions.

In addition, ACO CLIENT™ allows you to perform all ACO PAGER™ product setup and maintenance functions from your web browser regardless of your proximity to the iSeries (or AS/400). With ACO you're in full control:

Hardware Requirements

Requires one standard iSeries V.24 SDLC communications line and one ECS (or Hayes® compatible) modem (or a properly configured SMTP e-mail connection to the Internet). Works with all alphanumeric and  two-way pagers, properly equipped cellular phones, pda's, palmtops, and all numeric pagers.

Software Requirements

ACO PAGER™, ACO NET™, ACO ESI™, and ACO CLIENT™ execute on iSeries® systems (all models) running  OS/400 Version 5 Release 1 (or higher). ACO Client™ requires WebSphere® Application Server v5.0 (or higher), WebSphere® Application Server - Express, or any Java 1.3 compliant web application server like Apache. ACO ESI™ requires an enterprise system application like IBM Tivoli® or BMC Patrol Enterprise Manager®.
