You set up the specific events you want to monitor (e.g message queues (including QHST), job queues, active jobs, library/file objects, IFS directory objects, spool files, iSeries email, TCP/IP network etc.) and the actions to be performed based on the iSeries’s specific or generic message id and job information. When a message is sent to a monitored message queue, ACO PAGER™ performs the appropriate user-defined action. ACO PAGER™ notifies you of important system events, eliminates unwanted messages, and ensures problem resolution through message escalation features.
